The requirements of lubricant's property in wire drawing

 

        In the wire drawing process, lubricant’s property and whether it is fully supplied influence the working life of drawing mold.

        Therefore,steady lubricating property is required in wire drawing process, such as good resistance to oxidation, excellent Lubricity, cooling and cleaning ability, should maintain best lubricating condition in the whole drawing process, so that to form a layer of film which is hard to be damaged and can bear high pressure,reduce the friction force in working area and as a result the working life of drawing mold will be extend.
